The book Amerika eta diaspora euskal literaturan (America and the Basque Diaspora in Basque Literature) has just been published by UEU for the Durango Book Fair. It recovers and analyzes the silent voices of the Basque diaspora in America—through bertsos, songs, chronicles, and narratives—to reveal their place and meaning within Basque literature. More than a collection of memories, it is a deep study of how the Basque emigrant experience became part of a literary and cultural identity. Available now at the Durango Fair and on UEU’s website.
